Invention

We had to create an "invention" this week. I was SO psyched when I thought up this fish-bowl carrier thingy for a monster who's half fish half not-fish. However, I showed it to Jeff and he thought it was a bad idea and that I had no soul and no chance in making it in the art world. Not that this made me feel bad or anything. I only cried for 45 minutes afterward. Anyway- I decided to rise up against Jeff's evil ruling and do it ANYWAY! So THERE! And this is what I came up with...maybe Jeff was right, it wasn't such a good idea. But the monster is cute!

God

God was our blog assignment this week. I haven't done a single "painting"...meaning off the computer-work this entire semester...so here's a little paint brush work.

WAKE UP BEAUTY!

I'm currently in my room...sarah has been bitching about her "gummmy bear" issues for about 2 hours. Meanwhile, the beauty keeps trying to fall asleep on me and I won't let him, because I always think he's dead when he's napping. Sorry beaut. You'll just have to wait until 3 am to sleep. So this is my vehicle...for now- I wanted to do more of a background, but I ran out of time. I'm sure Jeff will complain about this, then he'll dig in some unnecessarily evil comment about my personal life and I'll cry inside until his class is finished. Yay for tuesdays!

Rob makes awesome armpit farts

Rob is sitting next to me...screaming and crying about who knows what. We worked in illustrator today which was fun, but once again my work was not good enough for Jeff. That twit. Look at my sad monster!

my life is in shambles

I'm in class...but where the hell is elliot? That slacker. This is the lion we had to paint in class - it looks a little creepy, but Jeff is making me post it for the world to judge. Thanks. A lot.

Monsters and Tendinitis

I got back from my dance competition late on Saturday with full-blown tendinitis...but we did kick ass in NYC. YEEEAH! Due to my condition, the monsters are a little shaky, but completed nevertheless--and done with a brush line, in order to make Jeff a happy little camper. Although I'm SURE he'll find something to complain about. (Like the fact that I didn't fix the linework on last weeks piece). Oh vell. As for the story behind this piece...the idea is that this hideous monster woke up and was walking down the hallway when this cute little guy attached himself to his leg. You can imagine the rest of the story- and while you're at it...illustrate it for me so I don't end up with crepitus by the end of the week. Thanks so much for your help. NOT
